For the volunteer board members responsible for helping guide Houston-area homeowners associations, having the right resources nearby can make a difference, particularly when the conversation involves a major project, a complicated budget, a vendor concern or a decision that is simply easier to work through face-to-face.

RealManage, a vendor partner of HOA Connect Houston, has opened a new Houston office at 5858 Westheimer Road, Suite 888, creating a dedicated local hub for its community association management team, the HOA boards it serves and the business partners who work alongside them.

The 5,295-square-foot office in Houston's Spectrum Building provides space for client meetings, collaboration, educational programming and continued growth. It serves as a home base for 12 Houston associates and is part of a broader investment by RealManage in strengthening its presence across the Greater Houston area.

For Houston HOA and condominium boards, the significance is less about the office itself and more about what having a stronger local presence can provide: another place to sit across the table from the people helping manage their communities.

A Local Hub for a Houston HOA Market That Is Anything but One-Size-Fits-All

Greater Houston's community association landscape stretches across an enormous and diverse region. A large master-planned community in Cypress or Katy may have very different operational needs from a condominium in Houston, a townhome association near the urban core or a growing neighborhood in communities such as Tomball, Spring, Richmond or League City.

RealManage currently lists service throughout Greater Houston, including Houston, Cypress, Katy, Sugar Land, Tomball, The Woodlands, Conroe, Magnolia, Pearland, Friendswood, Kingwood, Fulshear and numerous other communities. The company also operates an office in The Woodlands.

That geographic reach makes local familiarity important, particularly for board members who may be navigating budgets, reserve planning, community maintenance, vendor relationships, compliance matters, homeowner communication or major capital improvements.

RealManage says its Houston operation pairs locally based community association managers and leadership with the technology, financial systems and specialized resources of its larger organization. Its services extend across single-family HOAs, townhome communities, condominiums, master-planned developments, high-rises, mixed-use properties and developer-controlled communities.

The Westheimer office gives those relationships a physical home in Houston.

Clients, board members, community leaders, business partners and RealManage associates gathered Aug. 31 to mark the office opening.

Crystal Williams Leads RealManage's Houston Market

The new office also arrives alongside a leadership investment in Houston.

RealManage appointed Crystal Williams, CMCA, AMS, PCAM, to lead its Houston market. Williams previously worked with Cardinal Management Group, a RealManage company, where she led the large condominium division in the Washington, D.C. region. Her background includes both onsite and portfolio community management.

That combination of local leadership and national resources is particularly relevant for volunteer HOA board members, who often find themselves responsible for decisions involving substantial community assets, long-term financial planning and the daily quality of life of their neighbors.

The Houston expansion also follows industry recognition for the local team. Earlier this year, RealManage was named Management Company of the Year at the 2026 Community Associations Institute Greater Houston Chapter Awards Gala.

Rather than representing the beginning of RealManage's Houston presence, the office creates additional space for a team and client base that were already established here.

What the New RealManage Houston Office Could Mean for HOA Boards

For a community association, management takes place in dozens of relatively ordinary moments that can have a lasting effect on how a neighborhood operates.

There are financial reports to review, contractors to coordinate, homeowners who need answers, maintenance projects that cannot be ignored and long-term reserve needs that boards have to balance against today's expenses.

Some of those matters can be handled efficiently online. Others benefit from getting people into the same room.

The new Houston office is intended to support in-person board meetings, community association education, conversations with local vendors and industry organizations, and collaboration among RealManage associates.

It also complements the company's technology platform. RealManage says its community association software provides board members and residents with access to financial reporting, account information, communications, payments, records and service requests. The company currently serves more than 3,500 client communities nationwide.

For Houston associations, that creates a model built around both local relationships and centralized tools, with the new office serving as the physical connection between the two.

Houston Growth Is Part of a Larger RealManage Expansion

The Houston investment is not happening in isolation.

RealManage announced Sept. 22 that it has also expanded significantly in South Florida, adding approximately 50 communities over the past two years and bringing its regional portfolio there to more than 200 properties. The latest additions include an approximately 600-unit twin-tower high-rise community in Hollywood Beach and a community of more than 1,700 units in Doral.

RealManage CEO Jose Costa described the South Florida growth as an extension of the company's approach to combining regional relationships with larger organizational resources.

“Communities want a management partner that understands their needs and brings the right people, technology, expertise, and resources to support them,” Costa said. “Our growth in South Florida reflects the trust we’ve built with communities and our ability to pair strong local relationships with the capabilities of a national organization.”

RealManage's South Florida expansion is being supported in part by Juan Garcia, vice president of sales and market development for South Florida, who works with board members, community leaders and industry organizations as the company develops its regional presence.

“My Venezuelan heritage, along with the experience of living and working across three continents, has shaped how I build relationships and reinforced the importance of trust, hard work, and transparency,” Garcia said. “I’m honored to apply those values at RealManage while serving South Florida communities, where Hispanic culture is such an important part of daily life and business.”

While Houston and South Florida are very different markets, the recent investments in both regions point to a similar strategy: expanding locally while maintaining access to the systems and expertise of a national community association management company.

A Growing Resource for Greater Houston's Community Association Industry

Houston's continued residential growth means more neighborhoods, condominiums and master-planned communities are dealing with the increasingly complex work that comes with maintaining shared infrastructure, managing association finances and protecting community assets over the long term.

Behind that work are volunteer board members who often give hours of their own time to decisions their neighbors may never see.

For those boards, accessibility and communication with management can matter just as much as the systems running behind the scenes.

RealManage's new Houston office creates another point of connection for that work, whether it involves sitting down to discuss a capital project, bringing industry partners together for education or giving local management teams more opportunities to collaborate.

And as RealManage continues growing nationally, Houston now has a larger local base from which to serve the communities already relying on that support.
