HOA Connect Houston: A Legacy of Trust, Advocacy, and Community Leadership
HOA Connect Houston was created to support HOA board members and community managers through education, connection, and long-standing relationships rooted in trust. Led by Tiffany Krenek and Johnny Krenek, Executive Directors of HOA Connect Houston, the organization is built on a family legacy that spans nearly five decades of serving Texas communities through reliable communication, advocacy, and relationship-driven leadership.
At its core, HOA Connect Houston exists to strengthen the people responsible for guiding neighborhoods. The organization works alongside HOA boards, community managers, and trusted industry partners across Greater Houston, helping foster transparency, collaboration, and informed decision-making in the communities they serve.
Leadership Grounded in Experience and Credibility
Tiffany Krenek serves as President and CEO of My Neighborhood News, a hyperlocal news organization + web host founded in 2021 to deliver accurate, consistent, community-centered reporting across the Houston area and beyond. Through My Neighborhood News, Tiffany has worked closely with HOA boards, management companies, public agencies, nonprofits, school districts, and residents—earning a reputation for balanced reporting, community advocacy, and a deep understanding of the challenges facing modern HOAs.
Johnny Krenek is the Chief Technology Officer and Vice President of My Neighborhood News, where he oversees technology, systems, and operational infrastructure. Johnny brings a unique perspective shaped by his family’s long history in community-focused business. His parents founded Krenek Printing in 1979, a company that spent decades serving HOAs, schools, municipalities, and local organizations throughout Texas. That work laid the foundation for what would later evolve into My Neighborhood News, carrying forward the same commitment to accuracy, accountability, and service.
Together, Tiffany and Johnny lead HOA Connect Houston with complementary expertise—blending editorial integrity, technical leadership, and generational insight into how neighborhoods function best when communication and trust come first.
Nearly 50 Years of Community-Focused Legacy
The values that guide HOA Connect Houston did not begin recently. They were shaped over nearly 50 years through Krenek Printing’s work with communities across the Greater Houston area. For decades, the Krenek family partnered with HOAs and local organizations to provide dependable communication tools and consistent service, building relationships that often spanned generations of board members and managers.
That legacy continues today through My Neighborhood News and HOA Connect Houston. While the platform has evolved, the foundation remains the same: advocacy built on listening, support grounded in reliability, and relationships designed to last well beyond a single contract or board term.
Why HOA Connect Houston Exists
Through My Neighborhood News, Tiffany witnessed firsthand how misinformation, lack of communication, and public misunderstanding can place unnecessary strain on HOA boards and community managers. Too often, HOA leaders are expected to navigate complex responsibilities without adequate support or recognition for the work they do to protect property values, ensure safety, and maintain community standards.
HOA Connect Houston was created to help close that gap. The organization provides a space where HOA leaders can comfortably connect with credible partners, access education and resources, and engage in conversations that prioritize solutions over conflict. The mission is not promotion for promotion’s sake, but meaningful engagement that helps HOA boards and community managers operate more effectively and confidently.
Growing Across Texas
What began in Houston has expanded into San Antonio and Austin, reflecting a broader need across Texas for better communication tools and relationship-based support. As My Neighborhood News grows into new markets, HOA Connect continues to follow—adapting to regional needs while maintaining the same core values that have guided the Krenek family for decades.
HOA Connect Houston is an extension of HOA Connect North Texas, an organization established nearly a decade ago by Judge and Debbie Bugbee with the same foundational purpose: to support HOA board members and community managers through education, advocacy, and trusted relationships. Building on that proven model, HOA Connect Houston brings the mission to Greater Houston and surrounding markets, creating continuity across regions while allowing local leadership to address the unique needs of each community. This connection strengthens collaboration statewide and ensures that the values of transparency, support, and long-term partnership remain consistent across every HOA Connect chapter.
A Relationship-First Approach to HOA Support
HOA Connect Houston is not a sales platform or a transactional networking group. It is a relationship-driven organization focused on long-term trust between HOA boards, community managers, and the professionals who serve them. Every partnership and initiative is evaluated through a simple lens: does this genuinely support HOA leaders and the communities they represent?
By combining the credibility of My Neighborhood News with decades of generational experience in community service, HOA Connect Houston offers a model built on transparency, education, and advocacy—designed to help neighborhoods thrive today and well into the future.
